Lacy Sunshine #25 - Bingo

Hi!  Well it's time for a new challenge over at Lacy Sunshine, and the theme is Bingo - so pick any line on the Bingo card below and craft away!  For the random draw there will be 2 winners: 1st prize - 5 digi images, 2nd prize - 3 digi images of choice from the Lacy Sunshine Crafters Candy Shoppe - the store has a brand new look, so pop over and take a look, its very pretty!

I chose buttons, glitter and die cut (the rectangles are my dies cuts), and kept it pretty simple as Fuzzpuff Moth Buggmee is so cute and I wanted to keep it as the focal point.

I was able to use this fab digi from Lacy Sunshine for my card - I just love her.  Originally I thojght I might do something with lilac and sort of shabby chic to give the image a bit of a different look, but then I found this blue paper and that was that!

Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge #159 - Anything Goes

It's time for a new challenge over at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge, and this week the theme is Anything Goes - so craft your heart out and share those makes!


Looking through my stash for some paper and card to team up with this fun digi from QKR Stampede I found a Bo Bunny paper pad and chose a  paper bursting with stars, then for the card... I started off with a bright blue, then thought hang on a minute, I always use the same colours from my Core'Dinations card pads (blue, pink, purple, red) and end up left with loads of yellow!  So, I decided to give it a go, and I'm still not so sure - what do you think?

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you!

Well here we are in 2014!  I haven't had much chance to craft in the run up to Christmas, so I created this New Year card for you in Serif Craft Artist based on a tutorial / design by Michelle Jackson-Mogford.  Its definitely something that I would print out to put on the front of a card with some simple matting and layering (a bit of green card and gold mirri card me thinks!) given some more time! :-)

It was quite quick and fun to do, and a technique that I will definitely be trying out again soon!
