Hi! Today's make is a bag - and don't you just love that cat fabric, its so much fun! I've made this for someone special (though she doesn't know it yet!), and will be putting it in the post in the next couple of days, but I just could not wait to share it here with you!

Purple star fabric - unknown as it does not have a printed selvedge with any details (sorry), but I bought it from Hometown in Rochester
It's been a while since I did any sewing, and as I have a bit of a fabric stash(!!!), including some gorgeous pieces from Mumbai and Amsterdam, I
figured it's time to get making! I made this bag from a kit by Owl and Sewing Cat which I've had for a while. It includes the pattern, plus all of the fabric you need.
It's a quick and easy make - I finished it yesterday morning and it
got its first outing in the afternoon!

Gutermann - white and red sew-all thread
I bought some London Jubilee inspired fabric at the weekend, which I thought I would share with you. I'm intending to make a bag with it, using a pattern from the book "The Bag Making Bible" by Lisa Lam, so now I just need to get the other bits n bobs needed and find some time to make it! So watch this space!
