Morning!  Today I have a Lacy Sunshine card featuring Eleanor & Wanda - over at Lacy Sunshine we are celebrating Eleanor & Pickles 1st Birthday, but I thought a card with one of Eleanor's other friends would be ok  too :-)

Lacy Sunshine Eleanor & Pickles Tightrope Walking

Morning!  Today I'd like to share another Lacy Sunshine Eleanor & Pickles card that I made for their 1st Birthday celebration.  I started off with a very pretty and sparkly girly card in mind, and although its pink it definitely didn't end up with what I originally had thought of - mind you I think that is the case for most of my cards! Kraftyhands Father's Day Card Tutorial

Hello Crafters!  Today I would like to share with you how I made this Father's Day easel card from one of the card sets on the Kraftyhands Vintage Motors CD.

So first of all, here are the materials used:
Kraftyhands - Vintage Motors CD
Joanna Sheen - gentle gloss photo paper
Core'Dinations - brown card
Craftwork Cards - white 15.5 cm square card blank, white A4 card
Pinflair - dimensional glue gel
Other - double sided tape, scissors, guillotine, tweezers, scoring board and scoring tool

Step 1
Print out 2 corresponding easel card sheets using glossy photo paper

Step 2
Take the square card blank and score across the front at 7.5cm to make the base for the easel

Step 3
Cut out the easel card insert, topper base and topper - I used a guillotine, but you could just as easily use a ruler and craft knife.
Cut three squares of brown card - two 14.5cm x 14.5cm and one 12.5cm x 12.5cm
Cut one square of white card - 15cm x 15cm

Step 4
Cut out the Father's Day sentiment, sentiment backer and photo corners using scissors

Step 5
Layer the card as shown using double sided tape
- Topper base onto brown card, layered onto white card
- Topper onto brown card
- Easel card insert onto brown card, then stick onto the inside of the card blank

Step 6
Place double sided tape onto the back of the topper base, making sure that the tape is lower than the card fold

Step 7
Stick the topper base onto the front of the easel card

Step 8
Layer the sentiment with dimensional glue, and stick onto the card insert using more dimensional glue
Place the topper onto the topper base using dimensional glue and leave to dry

And here you have the completed card!

 

Lacy Sunshine #10 - Happy Birthday Eleanor and Pickles!

Its the 10th Lacy Sunshine challenge, and its an extra special challenge as we are celebrating the first birthday of Eleanor & Pickles!  The theme is Anything Goes and will run from 9th - 22nd June. 

To celebrate this extra special event the top prize for is the complete Eleanor and Pickles digi image collection (old and new digis) on CD (WOW!) - to be eligible for this prize you must must use a Lacy Sunshine digi - you can find all of Heather's fabulous digis in the Lacy Sunshine Shop.  There will also be a Top Three (as usual) who will each receive a blinkie and 2 of Heather's digis.

Blue Jay

Hi!  Today's card was made using spellbinders and a gorgeous blue jay digi image from Fred She Said.  Its very similar to the card I made recently using the poppies digi image again by Fred She Said, except this time I have made the card landscape, and I have added a sentiment using a smaller die and no ribbon!

Lacy Sunshine Fred Gnome and Philly the Turtle

Well I don't know about you, but I am sooo happy that its "le weekend" - a chance to chill out and craft too :-) 

The card I want to share with you today was made using one of the Gnome of Gnarly Wood digis from Lacy Sunshine.  As a member of the Lacy Sunshine Creative Team I was given the privilege of naming this fab digi - and so Fred Gnome and Philly the Turtle digi was born!  Aren't they sweet!  You can find this digi and all the other Gnarly Wood Gnomes in the Lacy Sunshine Shop.

Kraftyhands June Challenge - No Squares Allowed

Morning! Its the 1st of June and the start of a new challenge over at Kraftyhands.

Kraftyhands Summer of 59

You are going to LOVE this CD from Kraftyhands!  It launches today on Create and Craft at 12 noon and 4pm, and you can also see some fab samples by the Design Team in the Kraftyhands Gallery.  I haven't had chance to make any cards using this CD yet - but I have lots of ideas, and am definitely looking forward to having a play at the weekend, and will be sharing some cards with you then!

Weekly Panda Post - 10th May 2013

Ok, so I admit it - this is NOT a picture of anything to do with pandas!  But as the Weekly Panda Post is special to me, I thought I would use this week's post to remind everyone that there is extra special event on at Lacy Sunshine at the moment - from 1st May thru 17th all  proceeds from the sale of 7 special digi stamps will be donated to Relay for Life's Team Fight Spirit - helping to fight Breast Cancer. Weekly Panda Post - 3rd May 2013

Its Friday! And what a beautiful Friday it is here in the UK!  Spring is definitely here!

And can you believe that this is my 200th post!  It wasn't planned, but as my blog is called Paper Panda I am really pleased that this week's Panda Post is the 200th!

The card I have to share with you today is another very simple and quick card made in Serif Craft Artist Professional 2, using an image from the Party Paws digi kits.  I am really loving this range - can you tell?! LOL!  And I have also fallen in love with this lovely simple layout too - so you have already seen a few cards like this, and will probably see some more :-)
