Lacy Sunshine Challenge #5 - Anything Goes

Happy Easter Sunday! Its time for the launch of the 5th Lacy Sunshine challenge! The theme is Anything Goes and will run from 30th March - 13th April. You'll find all the rules over on the blog, but basically if you enjoy using digi stamps or rubber stamps you will enjoy playing along!

Happy Easter!  I hope that the weather is starting to brighten up where you are - although its cold here today it has been bright and sunny, so I really do hope its the start of some better weather for us all. 

This sweet little Easter card has been made using the Springtime Garden CD from Kraftyhands - I just love those bunnies sitting squashed in the wheelbarrow with all those flowers!

Hi, here is another card made with Millicent Melancholy Moppet - a new range from Heather Valentin which you can get over at the Lacy Sunshine Shop.  Like the first card I showed you of Millicent, I have used the png file, created a scene in Serif Craft Artist, and then coloured in with Copics.

Weekly Panda Post - 22nd March 2013

Evening, and welcome to this week's Panda Post!  The card I have to share with you today is another one using crafty yumminess (is that a real word?) from the new Crafters Companion Party Paws range.  Its my version of one the cards on the inspiration sheet included in the pack, now I don't often follow these (bit of a crafty rebel and tend to prefer to do my own thing!), but I thought this one was so fresh and pretty that I couldn't resist making it up!

For all of you in the UK I hope you are keeping safe and warm in this cold, wet, windy, snowy miserable weather!  And where is spring I ask???!!!  A couple of weeks ago when we started to have a couple of bright sunny and slightly warmer days I saw the beginnings of some spring flowers, but with the weather we have now they are surely and sadly destroyed :-(

No matter where you are, I hope you are safe and healthy and have some time to craft!

Strawberries!

Morning everyone!  Today I have a colourful cheery card with Eleanor and Lily eating strawberries to share with you.  Its one of the pre-coloured digis from Lacy Sunshine that you can find along with tons of other yummy digis in Lacy Sunshine Shop.

I've had this paper pad for ages, it was free with a magazine some time last year I think, and this is the first time that I used any paper from it - oops, I really do have too much craft stuff... :-)

Hi, here is a card made using one of the Melancholy Moppets - a new range from Heather Valentin which you can get over at the Lacy Sunshine Shop.  Here I have used the png file of Millicent, and created a scene in Serif Craft Artist, and used my beloved Copics to colour her in.

Sweet Birthday

Here is a very simple card made with a really cute image from Tiddly Inks.  My crafting mojo has been seriously missing this last week, so this morning I decided to take a look at some blog challenges to see if there was anything that I thought I might like to have a go at.  And there it was - Tiddly Inks Clean and Simple!  I don't have that many of their digis (yet...) but chose Wryn with her huge lollipops and added a sentiment using Craft Artist Professional.  I love adding wonky lines, or dashed/faux stitching lines to cards, so wonky lines it was for this creating a frame for the card.  Hope you like her!

Weekly Panda Post - 15th March 2013

Hello, and welcome to today's Panda Post!  This week I have a quick card to share with you made using some of the lovely goodies in the new Crafters Companion Party Paws range.  I used a topper, the corners, a sentiment and part of a backing paper along with a piece of pink Core'Dinations card.  I love this image with Bamboo sitting on the branch with all the pretty blossom - and will be making something using the rubber stamp very soon!

As soon as I get my crafting mojo back that is - as it just seems to have gone AWOL this week!  What do you do when this happens?  I like to look at magazines and blogs for inspiration, but even that isn't working this week :-(  I think I just need to stop worrying about it, and hopefully he'll be back at the weekend :-)

Weekly Panda Post - 1st March 2013

Welcome to the first Weekly Panda Post!  As I love all things to do with Giant Pandas and this blog is called Paper Panda I decided that a weekly post dedicated to pandas would be a fun thing to do!  It may not always be a card or other craft project, it may be a new panda related purchase, news story, or something interesting that I have spotted on the internet.  I hope that on the non crafty posts you will join me and allow me to indulge in my love of Giant Pandas!

Today, I would like to introduce you to Flora, my first bear that started it all off :-)  She was a present from my sister when I was born, and the rest as they say is history!  I used to take Flora everywhere with me, and as you can see she is looking rather sad and worn these days - but I still love her, the only difference is now she sits on my bookshelf rather than being taken everywhere I go!

I already have the next few Panda Posts planned, so I hope you'll pop back to take a look each Friday.
