Pennys Paper-Crafty Challenge #166 - Guys and Girls

Hi folks, its time for a new challenge over at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge - and the theme this week is Guys and Girls.  I had this fab image from Sassy Studio Designs to play with as I was on the "Girls" side!

I had to take this photo indoors with the lights on, which makes the lovely plum colour card I used look black - but it is plum! Promise!  I also had a little experiment using the "into the box" die cutting technique - bit tricky cutting round the face and arm of the bride, but I think it worked quite well!

Kraftyhands Teacup Zoo - a Panda!

Here is a sneaky peek of one of the animals on the soon to be released Teacup Zoo CD from Kraftyhands - yes, a panda!  How happy was I when this arrived!  If you are not into pandas as much a I am, don't worry there are plenty of other fab images to choose from including a tiger, a giraffe and some birds too (and plenty of gorgeous backing papers!)

Kraftyhands Floral Garden CD

Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge #163 - Something Old, Something New

... but not something borrowed, or something blue! Though I do have blue on my card!  Yes, its Wednesday again (!) so its time for a new challenge over at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge - and its Something Old, Something New.

For my new I used my VERY new GraphIt Markers - this is only the second time I have used them on a card and I definitely need more practise!
My old was easy, as I have plenty of crafty stash :-)  just like most of you I'm sure!  I used a My Mind's Eye paper pad that I have had, well, for ages!  and some DCWV card, and my Spellbinders to cut the rectangles and small squares.
