Wow! Where did the last week go!? So its Wednesday again and yes, it's time for a new challenge over
at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge - and the theme this week is to use your Favourite Colour Combo. I had this darling image from StampArt Design, and just had to use pink and white (with a dash of grey and brown thrown in)!
Earlier in the week the fabulous Kraftyhands Create It! issue 1 magazine popped through the door, and today I have had chance to have a play! The magazine provides us with a ton of inspiration and a CD with all the bits we need to create the cards shown - now you can't get much better than that can you!
I chose this cute owl card for my first card, and printed out both sheets of images to get me started. I cut the pieces using my Brother Scan N Cut (except for the rectangles), and changed just a couple of things (only cos I am not good at sticking to a set project) - I added a mat of peachy coloured card and also used the same card to create my "dotz" instead of using the ones included on the project sheets.

I often find myself using the same card layouts time and time again, and although I like them I decided that I need to try a few different ones so had a look for some sketch challenges to play along with. I had a bit of extra time to craft this week, so I sat for a while at the PC looking through my folders of digi stamps. Can you have too many digis? Get distracted by them all? Spend so long looking at them all that you end up with no time to actually colour them in and make something? Er.... YES! Eventually I managed to pick this fun image from Bugaboo and create a card!
