It's
Thursday (again!), and we are in the
second week of the latest challenge over at Aud Sentiments!
The challenges are always about having a sentiment on your
project - it may be a specific sentiment or a theme, and this
time we have a Bingo challenge for you - but don't forget the sentiment!
I chose the top line - ribbon, something pink and die cut. Though I'm not happy with the use of my ribbon - but I had stuck it down with double sided tape so had to go with it!
For this challenge we are all using images provided by My Artistic Adventure - and in addition we have paired up with Add a Little Dazzle for
this challenge. Our two sponsors are generously offering a prize for the winner of this challenge!!
This means that we will have TWO WINNERS!

A few weeks ago the fabulous Graph'It Challenge DT asked people to apply for a Guest Designer spot. I applied even though I am still very new to using GIs, so was uber excited to find they thought my colouring and card designs are good enough to get a GDT spot! Thank you team!
I get to share 2 projects with you (how cool is that!?), and my first is for Christmas!
I've
had a couple of advent calendar kits in my craft stash for quite some
time, and thought this would be an ideal opportunity to use one of them!
I chose an image and papers from the Studio 12 Picknix Gingerbread
Twist collection, and set to work with some GIs, some glittery embossing powders,
Distress Ink and crochet ribbon! Hope you like it, I'm really looking
forward to using it this Christmas - the drawers are quite large so I
can put something more than just a chocolate in it! :-)
I hope you will pop on over to the Graph'It Challenge to take a look at all the fab projects from the DT and join in the fun!

Happy Easter! Hope the weather is better for you than it is here - grey and miserable and its been raining most of the day, which is a shame after the last few days which have been lovely! But a good excuse to stay indoors and have some more fun with the Kraftyhands What A Hoot CD - I added some bunting to this shaped card to make it into a quick Easter card.

I made a card for colleague who is leaving work tomorrow to have a baby, its A4 so that lots of people in the office can sign it to wish her well :-) I was inspired by several cards celebrating this occasion that I saw on the internet, and came up with this design. So I set to cutting out letters on my Brother SnC (a few attempts needed to get the size I thought I was selecting actually cutting out - seemed to work better if I did each letter individually...) Then added some small die cuts of buttons, birds and butterflies, oh and a couple of bows too!
We'll be presenting the card (along with a lovely gift of course) tomorrow, but I think I am pretty safe putting this on here today as most people about to have a baby will be far too busy to be looking at crafty blogs!

Just B Creative Crazy - April Linky Party

Hunkydory - Fairy Sweethearts paper pad
Brother Scan N Cut - to cut all the letters

I downloaded this free Tatty Twinkle Easter download designed by Nikky Hall of Polkadoodles for Tattered Lace, and just had to have a play - isn't she cute!
This is the second stepper card I have made recently, I have a bit of a stash of them but generally hate having to try to cut out paper and card to fit. However, my Brother Scan N Cut has changed that as I was able to create 2 layers in the Canvas software to fit these cards, and now its easy peasy! How happy am I about that! :-) I also cut out all the digi images from the download on the machine, then coloured them in. It really does make it a breeze, you get all the fun colouring and putting the card together and none of the hassle of cutting it all out.

Today's card is made entirely from Tattered Lace dies - and all based around their new hedgehog die. As soon as I saw it, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it - make a wedding card, don't ask me why - it just came into my head!
So, I have been waiting patiently for it to arrive (well ok, so maybe not so patiently...), it came a couple of days ago and today I have had chance to play! I decided to set myself a challenge and use only Tattered Lace dies - this caused me some difficulties deciding what to put in the corners, but ended up choosing a die from the Oriental Embellishments set. I hope you like my Mr & Mrs Hedgie!
