Well as promised I'm back this week with a panda card!  This time I have used a sweet digi from La La Land - I'm slowly building up a collection of all the digis they have with pandas, and luckily for me there are a few! :-)

Weekly Panda Post - 10th May 2013

Ok, so I admit it - this is NOT a picture of anything to do with pandas!  But as the Weekly Panda Post is special to me, I thought I would use this week's post to remind everyone that there is extra special event on at Lacy Sunshine at the moment - from 1st May thru 17th all  proceeds from the sale of 7 special digi stamps will be donated to Relay for Life's Team Fight Spirit - helping to fight Breast Cancer. Weekly Panda Post - 3rd May 2013

Its Friday! And what a beautiful Friday it is here in the UK!  Spring is definitely here!

And can you believe that this is my 200th post!  It wasn't planned, but as my blog is called Paper Panda I am really pleased that this week's Panda Post is the 200th!

The card I have to share with you today is another very simple and quick card made in Serif Craft Artist Professional 2, using an image from the Party Paws digi kits.  I am really loving this range - can you tell?! LOL!  And I have also fallen in love with this lovely simple layout too - so you have already seen a few cards like this, and will probably see some more :-)

Weekly Panda Post - 26th April 2013

Happy Friday!  And how lovely has it been here to have some blue sky and sunshine!  Only two weeks ago I was still wearing my winter coat, it was freezing cold and we had snow and rain!  Spring has finally arrived - yay!  Fingers crossed its here to stay for a while.

This week's panda themed card was made using elements from the Party Paws papercraft kits I bought a few weeks ago.  I always struggle to use kits and tell myself that I won't buy anymore - and then do when something pretty (or with pandas!) comes along!  For some reason I look at all the bits and don't know what to do with them, and I can't figure out why its any different to using a topper, finding some matching backing paper and putting it all together in the way I want - I guess it must all be in the mind!  So I set myself a task to use some of the kit and made one (yes one...) card, and here it is - must try harder and make some more :-)

Weekly Panda Post - 19th April 2013

Morning crafty friends and followers!  This week I found myself in need of a congratulations card in a bit of a hurry.  So, thinking about what I could do on my way home from work I decided that a card created largely in Serif Craft Artist Professional using the gorgeous Party Paws digi kits could be my answer!  So here it is!  I created a topper simply using one image from the digi kit and adding the text "Congratulations!"  After printing, I cut it out and stuck it to a layer of pink Core'Dinations card - and hey presto one very quick card!

I'll take a few words to say how sad some of the events of this week have been - thinking in particular of the awful end to the Boston Marathon - and want to say keep safe and healthy to you.

Weekly Panda Post - 15th March 2013

Hello, and welcome to today's Panda Post!  This week I have a quick card to share with you made using some of the lovely goodies in the new Crafters Companion Party Paws range.  I used a topper, the corners, a sentiment and part of a backing paper along with a piece of pink Core'Dinations card.  I love this image with Bamboo sitting on the branch with all the pretty blossom - and will be making something using the rubber stamp very soon!

As soon as I get my crafting mojo back that is - as it just seems to have gone AWOL this week!  What do you do when this happens?  I like to look at magazines and blogs for inspiration, but even that isn't working this week :-(  I think I just need to stop worrying about it, and hopefully he'll be back at the weekend :-)

Weekly Panda Post - 8th March 2013

Hi Folks!  Its Friday!  That means its time for my second Weekly Panda Post! This week I have made a card using this sweet La La Land image with a cute panda as the little girls friend.

And I have to ask, have you seen the new Party Paws range from Crafters Companion featuring the most adorable panda called Bamboo?!  Just when I had been telling myself I must not any more crafty goodies out comes a range that I just HAD to have! So my order is placed, and now I patiently wait for it to arrive :-)

Weekly Panda Post - 1st March 2013

Welcome to the first Weekly Panda Post!  As I love all things to do with Giant Pandas and this blog is called Paper Panda I decided that a weekly post dedicated to pandas would be a fun thing to do!  It may not always be a card or other craft project, it may be a new panda related purchase, news story, or something interesting that I have spotted on the internet.  I hope that on the non crafty posts you will join me and allow me to indulge in my love of Giant Pandas!

Today, I would like to introduce you to Flora, my first bear that started it all off :-)  She was a present from my sister when I was born, and the rest as they say is history!  I used to take Flora everywhere with me, and as you can see she is looking rather sad and worn these days - but I still love her, the only difference is now she sits on my bookshelf rather than being taken everywhere I go!

I already have the next few Panda Posts planned, so I hope you'll pop back to take a look each Friday.
