I
had a new box of Stampin' Up! goodies arrive at the weekend, and I couldn't wait to
have a play! I'd also seen a sketch on the CAS(E) This Sketch challenge
blog which I did not have chance to play along with, but wanted to use
this idea for a couple of cards. So I used the Moroccan Designer Series
Paper, along with the new Dapper Denim card to create my version of
sketch #175.

Designer Series Paper - Moroccan DSP
Card - Dapper Denim, Whisper White, Whisper White thick card
Dies - Hello You thinlits
Other
- Snail adhesive, fine tip glue, tear and tape adhesive, silicone craft

Happy
Friday! Today's card was made using Garden in Bloom which is a lovely
floral stamp set. I wanted to create a one layer card, so I masked off
an area on the card that I would be stamping onto. It was very quick
and easy - stamp the outline images, then the filler stamps, remove the
mask and stamp the sentiment. I also decided to use a marker to outline
the images and "border", and then picked up some ink from the ink pads
with a wet paintbrush (always using the lid, not the actual pad) and
flicked some onto the card - I may have got a little carried away
here....
Stampin' Up! Materials Used:
Stamp sets - Garden in Bloom, Cottage Greetings
Ink Pads - Flirty Flamingo, Soft Suede, Old Olive, Soft Sky
Marker - Soft Sky
Card - Whisper White thick
Other - post it tape
Hi,
I thought I would share a card using a watercolour technique that I really like -

Today's
card is made with the fun Swirly Bird stamp set from the new annual

just had to give it a go myself!

Hello
again! Today's floral card uses the new Swirly Bird stamps and
co-ordinating dies - I am sure these will fast become favourites from
the new catalogue! I will be posting a very different card using this set on Monday.
This
is my version of a card in the new Stampin' Up! catalogue - I have made mine
landscape rather than portrait, changed the sentiment and a few other
bits. The background images are "stamped off" to make them lighter
versions of the ink to match the card as I thought that would look
pretty.

Card - Peekaboo Peach, Flirty Flamingo, Watermelon Wonder, Whisper White thick card

I love the gorgeous
Watercolor Wings stamp set by Stampin' Up! and had great fun creating this watercoloury effect card with two of the
new 2016-18 In Colors - Flirty Flamingo and Peekaboo Peach!
I have to admit that I was very happy with how this card turned our - really not sure it was what I first intend, but it works for me! I stamped onto watercolour card with the
butterfly images, some images on wet card, some on dry, to get this
fabulous effect - I love it and hope you do too!
Stampin' Up! Materials Used:

June the new annual catalogue along with 5 new In Colours will be
launched! I have used Flirty Flamingo, one of my favourites (along with
Peekaboo Peach) - so look out for some cards using both colours next
week!
For
this card I used the Lots of Love framelits to create a frame out of
gold foil card to arrange the flowers and leaves that I stamped from the

Monday
again, the start to another working week for many of us. Today I have a
card made using the Traveler stamp set, some masking and a reflection
technique.
First
of all I stamped the ship onto a craft sheet, then placed a piece of
card on top of it being careful to place the card so that the image
would be in the bottom half and gently rubbed over the card to pick up
the image of the ship. This gave a lighter image, which I could then
match up with the reinked stamp and add in the main image. I then
punched out a circle of post it tape to make a mask for a moon, and
sponged some layers of ink onto the card to create the sky and sea.
Stampin' Up! Materials Used:
Stamp sets - Traveler, Watercolor Wings
Ink Pads - Soft Suede, Soft Sky, Marina Mist and a sneeky peek of a new In-Colour Dapper Denim
Card - Whisper White, Whisper White thick card, Soft Suede
Punch - 1 3/4" circle
I
used a sketch from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge blog - I think its
one that you can use for many occasions and card sizes, but I decided on
Christmas! Which seems a bit strange as the sun is shining outside
while I write this blog post!

Hello
my crafting friends! Today I have made a card suitable for both men and women, all year round -
spring and summer, autumn, thanksgiving, and these leaves could also be paired up
with some flower stamps or punches to make a pretty card.
On
some of the leaf images I inked the stamp in the lighter colour ink,
then inked some of the edges up with a darker/different colour to give a
two tone effect. I think this would work well with the baby wipe ink
pad technique and ink refills to create a lovely blended image - maybe I
will try that out soon!
Stampin' Up! Materials Used:
Stamp sets - Vintage Leaves, Guy Greetings
Ink pads - Tangerinr Tango, Old Olive, Soft Suede
Card - Whisper White thick card
Other - Neutral Candy Dots
Other supplies - masking paper
This
card is really quick and simple. Some easy stamping straight onto a
scored piece of Whisper White thick card stock, two stamped trees which
are punched out with the co-ordinating punch and stuck on with Dimensionals.
Stampin' Up! Materials Used:
Stamp Set - Lots of Joy
Ink Pads - Old Olive, Real Red
Card - Whisper White, Whisper White thick card
Other - Stampin' Dimensionals, Tree Punch
Today's
card is all about stamping, and I have used just one stamp set - Sheltering
Tree which is very versatile and can be used all year round. I wanted
to make something that looked like cherry blossom as I have seen so many
beautiful blossom photos recently - but yes I know this does not look
like cherry blossom, but its still pink and pretty!
Stampin' Up! Materials Used:
Stamp set - Sheltering Tree
Ink Pads - Rose Red, Blushing Bride, Sahara Sand, Old Olive
Card - Rose Red, Whisper White, Whisper White thick card
Other - Dazzling Diamonds glitter, fine tip glue pen

how the card first started out, but in the end I quite like it. Just
