Its Add Black or Bling at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge # 151

It's time for a new challenge over at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge, and this week the theme is Add Black or Bling, and I added a bit of both!

 

Using Serif Craft Artist I imported a coloured background from a Katy Sue Designs CD, and layered the Tinker Sassy digi image on top (including the reflection of Tinker Sassy - changing the transparency of the image to make it really really light) , printed it out and coloured in the digi.

Lacy Sunshine #20 - Anything Goes

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge over at Lacy Sunshine!  The theme is Anything Goes, and we all love that one, so come and join in!

I used the gorgeous Lil Bows Tin Soldier image, I absolutely love her!  And used some papers from Bazzil that I have had for a while, but didn't want to use because they are sooooo lovely! LOL!  So I "broke" into the pack today and used parts of two pieces of paper and one piece of card - gulp! :-)

I had this cute Christmas image to use from Stamping Dragon Designs, and I decided to go for a simple layout with this one which I created in Serif Craft Artist, and a smaller 5" x 5" card - if like me, you have a ton of Christmas cards to make a few fairly quickly and simple cards can be just the thing!  Oh and who says that dragons can't be purple! :-)

Kraftyhands - Craft Nouveau Happy Birthday Sister

 

Happy Tuesday!  Today I thought I would share another card from the new Kraftyhands Craft Nouveau CD.  This is one of my favourites from the samples I have made - I love the colours of the backing papers, and isn't the lady pretty!

Kraftyhands - Craft Nouveau CD launch

Kraftyhands next TV product launch is the gorgeous Craft Nouveau CD.  Its full of fabulous images, background papers, card sets, inserts and sentiments - I have to say I really love all the papers as they can be used for so many projects!  And when it comes to deciding which images to use first, well that will leave you with a dilemma!

The CD launches on Create and Craft on Tuesday 1st October - shows are planned for 11am and 3pm, so I hope you can tune in and see Mike and Ian demonstrate the CD and show us all the fab samples the Design Team has created!

There is so much than you can do with the elements on this CD, so I'll be sharing some of the cards I have made over the next few days - I hope you like them!

Friday the 13th - Lady Heather's Curiosities

 

Friday the 13th... are you superstitious?  Particularly when it comes to Friday the 13th???  Me - I am undecided...

 

Today I have something a little different to share with you.  This is Sadie, a digi image from Heather Valentin, who a lot of you will know from Lacy Sunshine and her cute characters - particularly Eleanor and Pickles!  Heather also likes to have a bit of fun with some quirky / darker images and has created a new range of digis to tempt you with.

 

Now me... well I tend to like clean and pretty so I know that my card is not as "out there" as some that you will see from the Lacy Sunshine Design Team on the Lacy Sunshine blog - take a look at the fab video of all the samples!  Sadie was great fun to colour - I LOVE her hair - but I think I have come up with something that is still quite pretty!  So thank you Heather for picking the perfect image for me to have a play with!
